Last year I started working on reloading references for the NOE bullet designs, it has gone slower than expected because of the limits of my time but also because I needed to come up with templates that would make the Load Note sheets consistent across all the types of designs and contain as much information as possible for the bullet caster. Al and I think that we have a good format that addresses as many considerations as possible when generating the data so it is time to get started. A quick look at his store’s pages confirms exactly what an undertaking this will be so rather than work from A to Z, I thought I would ask as to what the immediate need of NOE’s customer base is concerning the information to get your bullets out the barrel.

In order to understand how the suggested loads are generated and how the pages are formatted, please read:  Pressure Notes.

Here is what the formatted Load Note pages look like and how the information is presented: 378-275 H&H Mag

If you recommend a bullet design, please include what cartridge you using with the design.

          Ah,

I was just waiting to see if anyone else would speak up :)

If you have the time I would love data for the 125gr Grendel bullet,
and also the 460-425 in a 45-70, and if you feel up to it loads for the 513-850-FN GC in 50BMG :D

I keep waiting for that one to be ran again!

There’s a couple of 9.3×62 shooters here using the 368-280-FN (mine drop at 289 gr) that would be interested if you could work something up. My PRVI brass is running about 75.25 gr H2O in capacity and my barrel is 20″.
I would’ve spoken up sooner but I just got to this subject. Thanx.

Greg, could you be specific about the 125-grain bullet you are referencing.

The 460-425, is that the Ranch Dog bullet? I started calling that bullet the 435-435 Right before I closed up shop. I need to get Swede to update some of his references. Here I a list of my designs: Ranch Dog Outdoors

OK, the 6.5mm is the 266-125-FN and it is loaded for the 6.5mm Grendel.
The other is the SC460-425-RF GC

                    Thank you very much :)

Thanks! The list is updated and I will start on this once home. It takes about a hour to build each Load Note Sheet, an hour and a half if the work is for a revolver cartridge, which means that I can only generate one sheet a day because of the demands of my time. I’m only saying this so you can forecast when they will be posted. I will start tomorrow, in the order that that where requested, and post the links here.

How about the same 266-125-FN bullet in the 6.5×55 Swede and the 246-105-FN in a 6mm Remington?

                          Thank you, mph911

Alright. Took a lot more work than I expected. A couple of weeks ago I dropped my laptop busted it pretty good but it kept working, this weekend I uploaded everything to a new one. When I went to install my MS Office, the installation stated that I had exceed my max number of installations. Was not going to buy it again so I downloaded Apache’s OpenOffice and started using it, much better too! Problem is that some of the stuff related to the new PC and OpenOffice’s Calc and the references in the worksheets had to be rewritten. Anyway, I’m back up and running and the first request is ready.

Sure can, will add it to the list.

I noticed that the OpenOffice wasn’t using the same name references as the I had setup in excel plus there was a bit of trash on additional pages. Correct both.

I hadn’t even seen this post until today.  I don’t know if it didn’t show up in my “show unread posts” display, or if I simply overlooked it because it was a sticky (many sticky updates aren’t worth reading, since they’re often questions/answers that don’t apply to me).

                                  Anyway…

Those that I would like to see some (additional) data for, the most….
                                  360-310-FN – .35 Whelen
                                  357-135-RF – 9x19mm (I run the SC/HP version)
                                  432-265-RF – .44 Mag, .444 Marlin
                                  And the 315-90-WC – .32 H&R and .327 Federal

There’s some reasonably comparable load data available for all of those combinations, though.  So if you don’t want to make it a priority, it’s not a big deal to me.
