A slick sided bullet dropped at .432 powdercoated will get you .433 at least.
A .434 coated will be around .435 and will be a beast to size if you’re doing a bunch, working with hard alloy or sizing down to .429 for some of the newer 44s.
I would be in on a HTC design 44 bullet. Would want a WFN with soft edges…or something with a bore riding nose section (like an ogival wadcutter with a little less meplat) that makes bullets rain from the mold.
Shorten the nose as well. I think the meplat is fine. Soften the edges for leverguns and Ruger magazines.
Can you make a video of how it performs at distance. Until then the jury is out. 2-3 inches at 100 yards would tell me if the meplat is too large.
I am not sure when I will have time to test it out. I just cast and powder coated some, but I don’t have a load for it yet. For now, here are a couple drawings to ponder on.

I would prefer less meplat for feeding and stability. Since I mostly shoot HP’s, the huge meplat is less of a necessity for me. However, I would be just as happy with the larger meplat if it flies well.
Concerning diameter, I cast rather soft and powdercoat. I size to groove diameter, or slightly larger, before coating and let the coating add the required 1-2 thou over groove. I will size again after coating, if necessary. So a .432 or .433 mold works in my routine as long as there is some semblance of a crimp groove left after sizing to .429 for the revolvers.
