Could the “V” shaped standard shallow pin still be an option?

Ok, I will take a look at that and update the “cup” pin to a “v” shape when I get a chance to sit down and draw it up.

Talked to swede about making the official drawings and the cup point pins will be included.  So it will come with flat point pins, cup, and the deep pins if ordered in rg2 or rg4.

Holy crap!  I just had a chance to cast with mine (the deeper hollow point) as well as the .357 mag mold of similar design last night.  That was the easiest casting NOE hollow point mold I have ever used.  The bullets fell from the molds so much easier than the molds with traditional lube grooves.  Only one or two taps with the mold mallet and they fell out perfectly.  I cast up some really beautiful bullets, and didn’t have to fight them at all to pop out of the molds.  Anybody else have a similar experience?  I will be trying to do some load development in the upcoming weeks hopefully.  But if any of you have found good loads, please share.  The deeper hollow points were coming out with my alloy around 252ish gr.  I still need to cast some up with no hollow points and see how they come out.  For my 252 gr hollow points, I was thinking about starting out around 18 gr of 2400 or maybe 21.5 gr of 296/h110 for the heavier loads and maybe 9.5 gr Unique for a mid range load.  Are you guys going to be loading these on the top end or more mid range or what?
