      My absolute favorite bullet for 38 Special is the true classic Ideal 358311.
      I think this would be a really nice addition to the line-up.
      And I would also like to be able to get a GC version of this proven performer for use in higher pressure rounds like 357 mag and others.
      That would be great.

          Onkel, do you have the bullet dimensions or some “as cast” unsized bullets that you could send to Al so he can get the proper dimensions from?

                      ‘Might they be made to drop .360″?

                        I think that NOE molds in the caliber typically do drop .360 or even .361. As Lyman molds on the other hand often drop smaller than expected, in this particular case the bullets drop at .357 which is OK for me since I size to .357 anyway for .38 Special. .358 would be ideal I guess and cover most needs. It would be nice to minimize the need to size down.
                        I take it you actually need .360 for your purpose?

                          I do, for it to work in all of my guns. I like for all of my bullets to be available for either my pistols or my 1894 or .35 Whelen.
                          But don’t design it for me. If you need/want a .358, go that way with it. I like the design and do have a PB 358311 that I can use. I just thought a GC version would be nice too.

                                Yeah, trying to get it drawn up.  The program I use isn’t always intuitive in how it does certain things.
