I got a question. I posted “I want” when I ordered the mold to get the 15% discount. I didn’t know there would be a code to use at checkout. I was so excited to get the mold paid for and on its way. Did I miss out on the discount? If I did,it is my fault, should have read some more. First timer ordering this way.

Give Al a call.  He will help you.  They just don’t get any better
If you didn’t enter the discount code given in the PM / Email when you checked out you missed it.
Easy to tell look at your choice in the store and take it X 15% and subtract or X.85 to get the GB price.

I know how you feel…this is my first NOE mold too and being a noobe, I did about the same thing. I wanted to pay fast to get it on its way.  I did see the discount code and read the directions to use it. My problem came when I used PayPal to pay using my iPhone. The mobile app kicked in the express pay system and would not give me option to add comments or enter the code.  I guess I didn’t quite understand how to apply code on PayPal. I also tried to order the handles at the same time but could not find them in store (none in stock).  Since then, I found a set listed (just now) and placed another order for a set of handles.  I tried to switch out of mobile view/express pay just to see if it could be done to figure out why I missed it before but, could not get out of the mobile view to use the classic or full site view.  Next time, I will just pay with card and not use PayPal from my phone and that should take care of it.  If it’s not too late to apply discount code or combine items in same package for shipping, my order numbers are 11135 for the mold and 11160 for my handle order.  Thanks Al and I look forward to using this beautiful mold!  Zeus

You always get a blank set of pins for solid base or point depending on HB or HP.

Is it possible to get blank extra pins for the HB, long enough to make a custom shape hollow?
I couldn’t find any in the store.

Click on “Be Sure to visit the store to see whats new” at the top of this or any forum page.
That gets you to the main store page

Left side after the caliber of moulds – 4 up from bottom before “Information”  is “Blank Moulds & Parts”  There are sets of .2 & .25 diameter for RG2 & RG4 sets.  It doesn’t give a length.

Think I would call Al and ask so you can order them with the mould.

Please post the results so some of us that may follow you won’t have to bother Al

Yea I thought it may be answered here. But I’ve sent Al a PM and will let you know.
The .2 and. 25 pins won’t cut it, they are too small. I would think the HB pins to be bullet diameter.

              Thanks.

Postman brought my new Keith mold today.  It’s absolutely beautiful.  Al, you are the consummate craftsman.  Thank you very much.  The signature (don’t know if it’s a replica of Keith’s or not) is a really nice touch.  It’s in the oven right now.  (I’m following your break-in instructions.)

A couple of days ago I posted about screwing up when I finished ordering my mold. I posted “I want” but I didn’t use the code word on checkout. This was totally my fault and I chocked it up as a learning experience. I checked my e-mail a few minutes ago and there was a notice that Al had refunded the discount to my card. Man, what other guy would do that. Thank you Al,you are a standup guy.

Just opened my package and the engraving really makes em look nice. Makes me wish I had 41 cal and 43 cal guns to justify buying all 4 molds.

Almost here!!!! One of two packages received. My handles and temp meter came in today’s mail. I think the brass trim on the handles will balance nicely and really look nice on the brass RG-4.  I hope the package containing the mold with accessories will be delivered in tomorrow’s mail.  I cant wait to get it washed and seasoned with 4 or 5 cycles at 450 deg in the oven. Hopefully it will be dropping some great bullets this weekend! Thanks Al for the quick shipping. Its appreciated!  Zeus

Got my 4 cavity brass a few days ago. Absolutely beautiful. So pretty…..I posted a shot on my Facebook page!

SO happy that Elmer’s legacy is living on in these accurate to his design as well as AUTOGRAPHED molds. :)

Get the moulds while you can.  Looks like at least the first run of all will have the sigie

Got a mould?  WHAT other excuse do you need to get new shootin’ irons?

I don’t have a 41 yet.  Getting both the 41 HP & HB RGs.  Makes me sick about all the high quality cheap priced  41 specials I didn’t buy at gun shows!!!  Now I get the pleasure of looking for them.  Like Steve Lee says in “Huntin Fool” “Got the perfect wife”.  She says git guns, bullets & powder yo’al can’t eat gold! ;D

Got my mold today. Beautiful piece of workmanship. I had Al drill it for the thermometer and bought one of the ones he sells. These things are fantastic. First thing I learned,I have been casting too hot. I got one of the brass hb molds and found the sweet spot at 460 f block temp and 760 f pot temp. When I opened the mold and gave it a little shake the bullets fell out. This was also my first time using a thermometer for my pot. Not knowing I just ran the pot sometimes all the way up. I noticed the sprue this time stayed together and without the thermometers it would break apart. My other favorite mold is a noe 358477. I hope I haven’t done any damage to it by running too hot. It is an aluminum mold. The bullets came out around 155 grains and all were within two grains of each other. My alloy is range scrap.Wheelweights  don’t exist around here anymore. The bhn runs around 10 to 12. These bullets will be loaded in 38 special around 800 fps.
