      Most airgunners will already know me…. I’m a PCP nut and for the last 2 years have been designing “Bob’s Boattails” for airgun use…. My latest design, the 200 gr. “Whiteout” .308 cal recently placed 1st and 2nd at the Extreme Benchrest Contest in Arizona in the 200 yard Pro Division….

        Just got the itch. I put my name in the hat for the .217 and .250 moulds . This should get interesting. I have never even seen a set of moulds but figure I’m still young and love to shoot so it was the next logical step. Wish me luck. I’m also looking for a source of lead up here in Canada , any help would be appreciated .

          Almost every junkyard has lead..But be sure what You are buying.. Stay away lead from car battery’s and usually those melted ingots could be anything.. If that place haven’t got that analyzer which show what kind of impurity that ingot contain I wouldn’t buy it… Any lead with sheets or rolls from ex ray rooms etc.are pure lead usually. And You could try find tin (Sn) also 1-2% mix whit lead it’s good. Easier to cast and better quality bullet. But You can use pure lead only if You want. It is more exact thing when You cast airguns than “real” guns because barrels. You don’t want Your lead contain copper,iron etc.
