      Last year I started working on reloading references for the NOE bullet designs, it has gone slower than expected because of the limits of my time but also because I needed to come up with templates that would make the Load Note sheets consistent across all the types of designs and contain as much information as possible for the bullet caster. Al and I think that we have a good format that addresses as many considerations as possible when generating the data so it is time to get started. A quick look at his store’s pages confirms exactly what an undertaking this will be so rather than work from A to Z, I thought I would ask as to what the immediate need of NOE’s customer base is concerning the information to get your bullets out the barrel.

      In order to understand how the suggested loads are generated and how the pages are formatted, please read:  Pressure Notes.

      Here is what the formatted Load Note pages look like and how the information is presented: 378-275 H&H Mag

      If you recommend a bullet design, please include what cartridge you using with the design.

                Just a reminder, I normally can only generate one Load Note sheet a day.

                Check at http://www.ranchdogoutdoors.com/data to see if the notes you are looking for have been posted. If not, make a specific request via a post using the bullet ID profile and cartridge. It will be added to the back of the list. Custom data; specific powder requests, cartridges not in my database, and bores not within .003″ of the bullet’s design diameter, cannot be provided. Data is generated within the confines of templates, please see any Load Notes as a sample of what can be provided.

                It is a good idea to bookmark the link above once opened.

                Please remember that this data is for NOE’s and RDO’s use. Your use of our Load Notes is at your own risk and only meant for a comparison against other sources.

                Hi!

                Is it possible to get load data for the .455 Webley mkII cartridge?

                I would like to use the following molds:
                -454-276-SWC RG4 cavity HB => 250gr
                -454-276-SWC RG4 cavity PB => 276 gr
                -453-196-SWC (H&G130)

                The cases are turned down Starline .45LC cases with Large Pistol primers.

                Thank You,
                Birgen

                    The 454-276-SWC HB is listed as a 454-250-SWC (True Keith HB) in the database.

                              Can I get some more reloading data for the .38 special / .38 special +P and .357 Magnum.
                              Using this boolit: 364-200-RN 38 S&W sized to .358/.359

                              Thanks,

                                  What is the generated error? C.O.A.L , bullet weight, size or pressure?

                                    It is the .364″ against the cartridges you requested. QuickLoad cannot provide reasonable results with the bullet’s diameter against the specified cartridges. In that this data is for everyone’s use, bullet sizing is not considered.

                                    .. bores not within .003″ of the bullet’s design diameter, cannot be provided. Data is generated within the confines of templates, please see any Load Notes as a sample of what can be provided.

                                    Granted, you said that you would size the bullet down but this would be data that only benefits your application and in that my templates are fairly automated and don’t indicate groove size or what the bullet has been sized to, it could be hazardous for others to use.

                                    While out repairing irrigation lines this morning, I was actually thinking about this. NOE usually has the same bullet in multiple diameters so this afternoon I sat down and looked. Sure enough there are identical designs, other than overall diameter, with the 360-200-RF being similar to what you are trying to accomplish by sizing down the 364-200-RF. Data can be generated within the requirements of the templates and is valid as long as your bore is within .003″ of the bullet’s design diameter (.360″). Here are the bullets to compare.

                                    I will get to it and should have you some data by tomorrow.
