Last year I started working on reloading references for the NOE bullet designs, it has gone slower than expected because of the limits of my time but also because I needed to come up with templates that would make the Load Note sheets consistent across all the types of designs and contain as much information as possible for the bullet caster. Al and I think that we have a good format that addresses as many considerations as possible when generating the data so it is time to get started. A quick look at his store’s pages confirms exactly what an undertaking this will be so rather than work from A to Z, I thought I would ask as to what the immediate need of NOE’s customer base is concerning the information to get your bullets out the barrel.

In order to understand how the suggested loads are generated and how the pages are formatted, please read:  Pressure Notes.

Here is what the formatted Load Note pages look like and how the information is presented: 378-275 H&H Mag

If you recommend a bullet design, please include what cartridge you using with the design.

Just a reminder, I normally can only generate one Load Note sheet a day.

Check at http://www.ranchdogoutdoors.com/data to see if the notes you are looking for have been posted. If not, make a specific request via a post using the bullet ID profile and cartridge. It will be added to the back of the list. Custom data; specific powder requests, cartridges not in my database, and bores not within .003″ of the bullet’s design diameter, cannot be provided. Data is generated within the confines of templates, please see any Load Notes as a sample of what can be provided.

It is a good idea to bookmark the link above once opened.

Please remember that this data is for NOE’s and RDO’s use. Your use of our Load Notes is at your own risk and only meant for a comparison against other sources.

            Hi,

What is the generated error? C.O.A.L , bullet weight, size or pressure?

Anyway thanks for your time and effort.

Finished this up this afternoon. Please note that this might not be an appropriate bullet for these applications because of the nose length! All data exceeds the spec cartridge OAL.

What might work best is using the 357 Mag with 38 Spl brass. This minimizes the COAL but it still exceeds the spec OAL.

I use my TLC359-190-RF, a 35 Rem bullet, in a similar fashion for my Rossi 92 chambered in 357 Mag. I use 38 Spl +P brass loaded to 35.0K PSI. In my case the bullet nose just happens to work out for the appropriate COAL but it will not work out with 357 Mag brass. This is a very effective deer and hog combo.

I think you already did the 199 gr sp, but I couldn’t find the 434-235-SP load notes.  If you get a chance, I could use some load notes for the 434-235-SP bullet.  I believe most of my 240 gr loads will probably be too high of pressure due to how low the bullet sits inside the case.

The 358-135-FN, should it be used with the same load data as the SC357-135-RF?
