Participant::Starting to follow this thread and looks like a great bullet for my FAL. As mentioned by Tomme Boy, I already have a similar mould the you basically have to beat the heck out of to get the boolit to release…very frustrating. I’m good with Al’s suggestion to shallow angle on sides of the lube groove or a rounded groove. I never had any issues with other NOE moulds releasing so I’m good with whatever groove that’s worked on others. Please include me on list!

Participant::What do you think of a round grove. That way it would also give a good way to distinguish this from the Actual K31 mold?? Plus I think that it will balance the amount of lube it carries better.
Please, everyone speak up as to your thoughts!
I really didn’t have a problem with the original groove design, but the round groove idea sounds good to me too. If going to the rounded groove design attracts more people, I’m in. I would happily buy a 4 cavity with the rounded groove too.

::Hi All,
my first post here.
I am a completely fresh owner of a K31, which I bought a few months ago. I started shooting nitro powder rifles last year, Mosin 91/30 being my first non-smoking stick. I haven’t done any reloading yet, although I have cast a few balls and bullets for my muzzleloaders. I am still in the process of reading, learning and shooting factory made ammo in small quantities (had to earn some dosh to buy them first, it takes way too much time
).I would like to buy a mould in any cavity configuration. I’m in Poland, perhaps someone from over here would like to participate in the shipping…
Cheers

AndrzejI’d check that this boolit will fit your K31, it is not the original specs but a modified version of the K31 boolit for 308 rifles.
