ok.  you now have 7.    I have a ROA but .454 will work for me.  put me down for a  5 cavity AL.  if you do a HB version, I’d go for that instead of a PB.

            I’m interested!
            It’s a  .454 5C alu mould PB that’s up for order?
            Is  brass an option?
Smbrj:  a hollow base version?? Minie’ style? :)

              Eight and counting.

When it becomes a goer then it should come with all the usual options.

Ruger Old Army uses a .457 round ball.
If you could bump up the diameter you may get some Ruger guys interested.

If we get enough on the discussion thread, then we could see what diameters Al will cut.

yup.  HB “mini like”  I’ll be using this in a ROA.  I’ve used H&G 68’s in it sized @ .454 w/o any issues it’s tight w/o any lead shavings so I would not want to go any smaller.

I’m in for one for my Old Army. I didn’t realize this group buy feeler was out there, so I just started my own request. I’d like to see it have a deep lube groove, a more blunt nose, and a stepped heel. Similar to this design, if possible.

I have his mould now, but it was made by Lee, and the quality sucks. FYI, the Old Army uses .457″ balls, but colnicals need to be .454″ or seating them will be a chore! Chain firing is not a problem with a .454″ sized/lubed boolit.
