I’ve done a bunch of experimenting with subsonic 300 Blackout hollow points (mostly the Lee 230gr) and have a couple thoughts on this.
First – that .200″ nose is too big, and that much flat rim around the hollow point is not desirable. About .020″ rim is good. Your .120″ hollow point would work well in a ~.160″ meplat, and feed well in most AR platforms.
Dropping off the pin – With well polished pins, the included angle on the pin can be as low as 20-25 degrees, and still let the bullet drop off. Less than 20*, and they start sticking, with WW alloy anyway.
You could extend that pin to more of a point, to get a deeper cavity with more progressive expansion. I like to end my pins in a .050″ wide tip. A straight sided tapered hollow point seems to perform better across a wider velocity envelope than the rounded cup shape shown in this drawing.
For the Blackout, your 311365 198Gr design feeds a lot easier; that nose style truncated at ~.160″ and hollow pointed, with a longer body for weight, would make a great subsonic hollow point.
