I plugged in .104 into ChairGun and it seems to be spot on. Was shooting out to 170 yards yesterday , had the rifle zeroed at 150 yards and was hitting 3 mil high at 100 yards.i absolutely love these bullets. Thanks Bob and NOE . Both the HP and solids were shooting extremely well from a 17.7:1 twist for those who care.
Bob , I’ve got what I think is a pretty impressive 9 shot( one mag ) string. Start at 890 , peak at 900 and back to 895. I didn’t bother shooting for groups on paper just wanted to see how far I could reach out consecutively hitting a 6″ paint can.
hello yes i have too sizing die, but once i push in (.250) all relief on bullet disappear i own .251 and .250 sizing die i have ordered a .251 mold recently from NOE too just waiting delivery
If you started with the larger size (0.253/0.255″) and sized to 0.250″…. then yes, you would remove most if not all of the raised nose and driving bands…. If you need a 0.250″ bullet you should start with the smaller size (0.250/0.252″)…. Otherwise the center portion will be too large and will drag on the lands, increasing friction…. What barrel at you using?….
Hello all just a quick update, even if bullet is very hard to push in barrel, i can shoot them at 738 f/seconds with incredible accuracy, my first test is 10 meters all bullets in the same hole not so bad i think i have ordered a .250 mold i think he solve my problem of barrel friction and give me some feets seconds more
Hello all By the way i own a modified kral puncher with LW barrel with a 1:17.7 twist rate the power was tuned approximativly to 75 fpe (100 joules) what is the best mold i can use and bullet weight please
I have not used these bullets in an LW barrel…. but understand that the larger size (0.253/0.255) and then sized down to about 0.254″ (depending on your barrel) seems to provide great accuracy….
