OK seeing as how I’m on a muzzle loading roll along with the Gardener bullet I also like a good mould of the original Enfield Pritchett bullet.

This drawing was done for/by Oyvind Flatnes when he had a Lee special order mould cut for the Modern Pritchett he designed, I have one of these no longer available moulds and the short bullet works well in the slow twist P53s especially at the shorter ranges.

I would like to see a mould of each the long original and the newer modern Pritchett.

Any one else shoot 577 rifled musket, Britain supplied a substantial amount of these rifle to the North and the South during the American Civil War so surely there has to be some of you shooting these fine firearms.

          No there was zero interest.

Muzzle loaders are few and far between here.

I would be very interested in the historic Pritchett, with its rounder nose instead of the slightly more pointed nose of the current NOE Pritchett. Over the last couple years I have probably cast 5000 Pritchett bullets on a pair of NOE molds and they are both going strong still, so I definitely appreciate what NOE has done for Pritchett shooters. If the mold could be improved to replicate the historic blunter nose of the Enfield bullet I would be thrilled! You couldn’t take my money fast enough.

I also would like to see the base plug mold trays made so that the plugs sit flush at the base of the bullet like the originals, instead of standing slightly proud.

Let me ask around my friends, I can think of a few who would be interested in the correct historical shape of Enfield muzzleloader bullet.

Original Pritchett’s plugs were slightly proud as well as flush. I have seen original examples of both.

Gentlemen, for those of you potentially interested in a Gardner mold, I just started a new thread here

Speaking for myself and my brother, we’d buy two of the traditional pattern Enfield round. I’ll share this around to see if there’s some more interest.

Best to start this in the “What would you like to see ran” forum for a re-run of these moulds.

Is it possible to have more of these made?  What is the procedure?

Brand new here, and I want one of these .550’s. Hope I’m doing it right.

Created this thread for a inventory run request.
