I’m sure that im not the only one who wants a groove less htc 125gr and 230/240 for there 300 aac blackout. the bigger one could be designed off the lee 230 minus the stupid boatail and the 125 could be based off the  noe HTC309-153-SP minus the sharp point to make tumbling in powder coat easier. Also making the nose of the bullet a little narrower to account for the thickness of the coating since blackouts have a very tight chamber and throat. And the bullet weights can very a bit +/- to account for design

Wrong alloy was on the drawing.  Weight should be a little heavier and the diameter should be for “wheelweights” not Lyman #2.

The standard lube groove 311-247-FN has a nose diameter of .300 and your current drawing shows .299. I just measured the nose of my
noe 314299 bullets with and without powder coat and the coating seems to add several thousandths to the diameter of the nose so i would narrow up the nose of the bullet a bit more to ensure proper chambering of the round

I currently powder coat the regular lube groove blackout bullet (311-247-FN) and it feeds and cycles fine in my AR’s.  I think this current drawing should work.

                          cornmastah,

At the risk of sounding completely idiotic, how about the following suggestion:

Shorten the length to the very popular 311-247-FN RG4 cavity PB Brass (Whisper) at 1.255″ to allow for the 0.200″ meplat to be offered with hollow point

I must not be the only one dreaming of a coated/hi-tek friendly (max bearing surface) 300BLK sub-sonic that will chamber in a semi-auto with M4 feed ramp, right?

With your hollow point option, guys like me could experiment with lower BHN expansion HP, while at the same time load flat nose (preferred) or cup nose (depending on what is offered) if we can’t be successful, or vice versa.  With the 0.2″ meplat with the flat (or cup nose), we will only marginally limit BC, but gain possible effectiveness on 4 legged critters within 300BLK shorter range effective distances.

Again, all assuming the bullitt will successfully function in semi-auto with standard M4 feed ramp.

On the second thought, I missed notation on comment #28 about also offering this in hollow point, so I am good to go as well.

Please confirm no issues with feeding powder coated bullits in properly cut M4 extension and M4 receiver.  Don’t want issues in my semi auto.
