2016-03-24 at 13:10 #488669Ranch Dog ::Last year I started working on reloading references for the NOE bullet designs, it has gone slower than expected because of the limits of my time but also because I needed to come up with templates that would make the Load Note sheets consistent across all the types of designs and contain as much information as possible for the bullet caster. Al and I think that we have a good format that addresses as many considerations as possible when generating the data so it is time to get started. A quick look at his store’s pages confirms exactly what an undertaking this will be so rather than work from A to Z, I thought I would ask as to what the immediate need of NOE’s customer base is concerning the information to get your bullets out the barrel. In order to understand how the suggested loads are generated and how the pages are formatted, please read: Pressure Notes. Here is what the formatted Load Note pages look like and how the information is presented: 378-275 H&H Mag If you recommend a bullet design, please include what cartridge you using with the design.

2016-09-18 at 21:54 #503605birgendekeyser Participant::The new load notes you have created for the webley mkII are still at a nominal pressure of 11.7kpsi like the previous version. Sure enough, I didn’t copy the revision to the server, got it now: http://ranchdogoutdoors.com/data/NOE/PDF/40/454-250-SWC-TK-HB_455Webley_MkII_Rev1.pdf On the version I just changed the NMP to the PMax of 13.1. I understand what you are say with the data you attached. Hi Ranch Dog, Thanks for all the time you have put into this .455 webley load data but I guess it just wasn’t meant to be probably best to delete the data to avoid any issues? probably best to delete the data to avoid any issues?I will report back when I have a working load, thanks for the CIP data. Birgen 2016-09-22 at 13:02 #503606Anonymous ::After a few trials I was able to get both boolits styles to cycle properly in my rifle, while seating the boolits in the 2.130-2.150 overal length range for the 311-230-fn boolits. I will work on this today. The Load Notes sheet will generate a 2.102″ min COAL for the 311-230-FN so that will be safe to use with the overall lengths you are working with. On the noe 311-247-fn, I was casting using the hollow points. They were averaging 227.5 grains prior to powder coating. They were loaded to 2.035 and all cycled excellent. Unfortunately, the Load Notes sheet is going to calculate at a minimum OAL of 2.133″ for the 311-247-FN. The bullet is pretty long and probably not appropriate for you application. This Load Note sheet will post at 2.133″ but don’t use it for you rifle and shorter COAL needs. In that the generated run of data is not applicable to your use, I will PM you a max load of Accurate 5744 for use at 2.035″. 2016-09-22 at 13:03 #503607Anonymous ::Hi Ranch Dog, Thanks for all the time you have put into this .455 webley load data but I guess it just wasn’t meant to be probably best to delete the data to avoid any issues? probably best to delete the data to avoid any issues?I will report back when I have a working load, thanks for the CIP data. Can you also provide proper information for those if there is no good set ups for my 300 blackout. Lastly, if those molds are not suited for a 300 blackout with a 1/7 twist, can you possibly direct me to one I should be looking at please? Thank you again for your help. 2016-09-22 at 15:52 #503610brigettecuneo Participant2016-09-22 at 16:01 #503611brigettecuneo Participant::Lastly, and I apologize for the multiple posts but I just went and checked the overall length of the 311-247 and they are a good amount shorter then the 311-230. Just wondering if it makes a difference that I only plan on using the hollow point pins for the 311-247. It’s an rg mold and seems to actually drop the boolits shorter then the 230 mold. I was seating the hollow point in the crimp groove which was giving me the overall length I first started to cycle.
I’m new so I’m completely relying on your skills and background. I’m learning but I’m seeming to be missing something when it comes to the proper mold for the calibers I was looking for. I thought I understood but maybe I didn’t.2016-09-22 at 17:30 #503612timschmidt Participant2016-09-22 at 21:29 #503613Anonymous ::Update! Just a reminder, I normally can only generate one Load Note sheet a day.Check at http://www.ranchdogoutdoors.com/data to see if the notes you are looking for have been posted. If not, make a specific request via a post using the bullet ID profile and cartridge. It will be added to the back of the list. Custom data; specific powder requests, cartridges not in my database, and bores not within .003″ of the bullet’s design diameter, cannot be provided. Data is generated within the confines of templates, please see any Load Notes as a sample of what can be provided. It is a good idea to bookmark the link above once opened. He ranged from a few feet to about 20 yards ahead of me over a 400 yard run along this brush line. 8500 lbs of equipment at high RPM didn’t phase him in the least, made the hunting good I guess. I’d take some photos from our area in the mountains but it’s still pretty burnt from the major forest fire we had last year.
On average, what’s your dressed out weight for the white tail in your area?
Lastly, when you have time, could you also make a load sheet for the NOE 311-150-sp for the 300 blackout please.
This mold and the other 2 you did for the 300 blackout and the accurate 5744 powder, is it possible at some point to make a load sheet for the 30-60 also? I’d love to have setups for my other deer rife with those 3 molds, if that’s possible.
thank you again Mr. Ranch dog.2016-09-25 at 12:24 #503619Anonymous ::Hi Ranch Dog, please run data for: – 360-228-FN 35XCB

Today is a storm day and probably won’t get much time outdoors so I will knock them out.
