Last year I started working on reloading references for the NOE bullet designs, it has gone slower than expected because of the limits of my time but also because I needed to come up with templates that would make the Load Note sheets consistent across all the types of designs and contain as much information as possible for the bullet caster. Al and I think that we have a good format that addresses as many considerations as possible when generating the data so it is time to get started. A quick look at his store’s pages confirms exactly what an undertaking this will be so rather than work from A to Z, I thought I would ask as to what the immediate need of NOE’s customer base is concerning the information to get your bullets out the barrel.

In order to understand how the suggested loads are generated and how the pages are formatted, please read:  Pressure Notes.

Here is what the formatted Load Note pages look like and how the information is presented: 378-275 H&H Mag

If you recommend a bullet design, please include what cartridge you using with the design.

On average, what’s your dressed out weight for the white tail in your area?

Very small by most standards as they are a desert type deer (texan). As a managed land, I keep electronic records with the State. I was able to download the info.

Just a reminder, I normally can only generate one Load Note sheet a day.

Check at http://www.ranchdogoutdoors.com/data to see if the notes you are looking for have been posted. If not, make a specific request via a post using the bullet ID profile and cartridge. It will be added to the back of the list. Custom data; specific powder requests, cartridges not in my database, and bores not within .003″ of the bullet’s design diameter, cannot be provided. Data is generated within the confines of templates, please see any Load Notes as a sample of what can be provided.

It is a good idea to bookmark the link above once opened.

Please remember that this data is for NOE’s and RDO’s use. Your use of our Load Notes is at your own risk and only meant for a comparison against other sources.

Our place is in Northern California. In our area the Bucks have always been on the smaller side. I’m guessing but 90 pounds dressed out is about average. A bit north the deer can be alittle larger but maybe 110 max. Thank you for the intel. I would have expected Texas to have bear sized deer.

Good morning my good man. I hope you had a nice weekend.
When you have time can you please make another load card for me. This time for the NOE (rg) 453-220-RF for the 45 acp.
I’m working on loads using both ramshot true blue and silhouette for as close as I can get without going to the plus P category.
Can you provide data using the hollow point weights vs the 230 grain round nose or flat point please? They are coming out about 200 grains once they are powder coated.
Thank you again for your help.

                                  Morning!

I got up early to run the data as I know I’m behind. Beautiful, dark, cool predawn day out there. While I was running the data, I heard a hog squeal. Got up from the table and sure enough about 20 hogs in my extended yard fighting. Took a break, went and got my Marlin 375 out of the safe and shot a large sow with my TLC379-235-RF. ‘llI take that as a reward for starting early!
