Last year I started working on reloading references for the NOE bullet designs, it has gone slower than expected because of the limits of my time but also because I needed to come up with templates that would make the Load Note sheets consistent across all the types of designs and contain as much information as possible for the bullet caster. Al and I think that we have a good format that addresses as many considerations as possible when generating the data so it is time to get started. A quick look at his store’s pages confirms exactly what an undertaking this will be so rather than work from A to Z, I thought I would ask as to what the immediate need of NOE’s customer base is concerning the information to get your bullets out the barrel.

In order to understand how the suggested loads are generated and how the pages are formatted, please read:  Pressure Notes.

Here is what the formatted Load Note pages look like and how the information is presented: 378-275 H&H Mag

If you recommend a bullet design, please include what cartridge you using with the design.

All we have around here early in the morning is raccoons. You Sir, have a lucky spot. Lol
Thank you for the new 45 auto load cards.
Never shot a 375 marlin. How does it shoot? hog hide is tough so I bet it packs a solid punch.

          Yeah, I’m a lucky dude.

375 Win is just is really just a modern 38-55 Win, a great deer/black bear/hog cartridge. Only been elk hunting once and passed on what I saw but I would use it with bulls responding to a bugle. Never been moose hunting but it seems a lot of that is close range so I would use it on one. A bit more punch that a 30-30 Wn/35 Rem but not as much as a 444 Marlin/45-70 Govt.

Closey, the NOE database I use lists the design as the 270-134-FN so that is how I ran the data. As long as your bore groove is within .003 of your bullet’s diameter of .268″ (.265, .266. or .267), the posted data is valid.

Just a reminder, I normally can only generate one Load Note sheet a day.

Check at http://www.ranchdogoutdoors.com/data to see if the notes you are looking for have been posted. If not, make a specific request via a post using the bullet ID profile and cartridge. It will be added to the back of the list. Custom data; specific powder requests, cartridges not in my database, and bores not within .003″ of the bullet’s design diameter, cannot be provided. Data is generated within the confines of templates, please see any Load Notes as a sample of what can be provided.

I’m wondering if the drawing is wrong on this page?

That is the correct mold. There was another mold made that was for pure lead and wondering if there was a minor mistake there in the weight differences vs the normal wheel weight measure. What I can say for certain is, that’s the right one I was talking about, lol.
I was expecting boolits in the 461ish range for the HP portion.
I wish I had more information for you Sir. Thank you for making the 320 grain load card and adding the powders I use for this set. It makes life a lot easier on my end for sure.

Glad to help out. A forum member let me know that I have the primer type wrong which I will correct in the morning. It does not affect the data calculations as QL makes the assumption that you are using the correct primers for the brass. I have it listed wrong in my cartridge database.
