Last year I started working on reloading references for the NOE bullet designs, it has gone slower than expected because of the limits of my time but also because I needed to come up with templates that would make the Load Note sheets consistent across all the types of designs and contain as much information as possible for the bullet caster. Al and I think that we have a good format that addresses as many considerations as possible when generating the data so it is time to get started. A quick look at his store’s pages confirms exactly what an undertaking this will be so rather than work from A to Z, I thought I would ask as to what the immediate need of NOE’s customer base is concerning the information to get your bullets out the barrel.

In order to understand how the suggested loads are generated and how the pages are formatted, please read:  Pressure Notes.

Here is what the formatted Load Note pages look like and how the information is presented: 378-275 H&H Mag

If you recommend a bullet design, please include what cartridge you using with the design.

Thank you very much for the info on the 172-32-RN, Ranch Dog. Going to be interesting working with this little one.

I would say that is the one there is only one 200gr .44 bullet on the site. Here’s the link anyways http://noebulletmolds.com/NV/index.php?cPath=37_209
          Thanks again,

Okay guys, thanks. I will get the list completed as soon as I can. I have to take my dad to Houston this morning but still should get to these this week.

Just a reminder, I normally can only generate one Load Note sheet a day.

Check at http://www.ranchdogoutdoors.com/data to see if the notes you are looking for have been posted. If not, make a specific request via a post using the bullet ID profile and cartridge. It will be added to the back of the list. Custom data; specific powder requests, cartridges not in my database, and bores not within .003″ of the bullet’s design diameter, cannot be provided. Data is generated within the confines of templates, please see any Load Notes as a sample of what can be provided.

Can I get data for the 311-195-FN GC (RCBS 311-180-FN) in 30/30?
Also data for the 432-200-RF  PB in 44/40 for a low pressure rifle using rifle powders like h4198 and Rl7 plus others? Trying to find a safe load replicating blackpowder velocities.
                  Thanks a heap!
                  Kit

Kit didn’t have much luck with the 44-40 Win loads. No rifle powders would generate given the low pressure limits of the cartridge. That’s tough to do if not impossible even with the 44 Mag in strong receivers like the Rossi 92 carbines.

Thank you very much for that ranch dog! I’ve been estimating powder loads using h4198 at about 24/25gn under the 44/40 bullet from some older alliant data using a 240gn with Rl7 at about 22gn(figures maybe off i’d need to check my load notes for what i did find out). I got about 1300fps with the h4198 when I did try it but I couldn’t test the pressure so I’m not going to repeat that to often. Again thanks for the data!

Could you please do the 314-205 SP (310679) and the 311-247 FN (Whisper), both in 7.62x54R?  I know I have asked for a couple of these already.  And thank you for being so generous with your time.

P.S.  the 314-205 SP (310679) is still an active group buy, so I don’t know if you would even be able to do it just know.  In any event, there’s no need to hurry about a mould that doesn’t exist yet.  If you can get all the info you need from the drawing it is listed under its .310″ diameter.

Thank you sir, I actually changed my order on the 311-247 to include gascheck cavities based on what Quickload’s conclusions.

Good deal! A good choice of powders and velocities, a lot of utility! I was side tracked with family health stuff for a few days, I will get the request finished up today.

Apologies if you’ve already run it and I missed it, could you run the 311-247 gas checked through the .308 Winchester.  My Ruger rifles have 1:10 barrels hopefully it’ll stabilize.

P.S.  the 314-205 SP (310679) is still an active group buy, so I don’t know if you would even be able to do it just know.  In any event, there’s no need to hurry about a mould that doesn’t exist yet.  If you can get all the info you need from the drawing it is listed under its .310″ diameter.

Cowboy, I finally figured out the confusion in finding the bullet in the database and; hence, being slow with coming forth with the data. There is a: 310-205-SP (310679) & a 314-210-SP (314679) which are one in the same other than overall bullet diameter. When I would run a search for “314-205-SP (310679)” nothing would come up because the numbers in your request are mixed a bit. I ran the data for the 310-205-SP (310679) and it will be valid for either as long as the bullet diameter is not over .003″ of your groove diameter. In other words, with a .308″ groove the data for the 310679 (+.002″ over) is appropriate, but not the 314679 (+.006″ over). Whatever your bullet minus groove sum is, the data is valid as long as the number is not over +.003″.
