Last year I started working on reloading references for the NOE bullet designs, it has gone slower than expected because of the limits of my time but also because I needed to come up with templates that would make the Load Note sheets consistent across all the types of designs and contain as much information as possible for the bullet caster. Al and I think that we have a good format that addresses as many considerations as possible when generating the data so it is time to get started. A quick look at his store’s pages confirms exactly what an undertaking this will be so rather than work from A to Z, I thought I would ask as to what the immediate need of NOE’s customer base is concerning the information to get your bullets out the barrel.

In order to understand how the suggested loads are generated and how the pages are formatted, please read:  Pressure Notes.

Here is what the formatted Load Note pages look like and how the information is presented: 378-275 H&H Mag

If you recommend a bullet design, please include what cartridge you using with the design.

Hi, I would be interested in load data for heavy, 200 grain bullets in a modern 9mm revolver (S&W 940).
In particular the 360-200-RN (38S&W) and 360-200-FN (RCBS) bullets with Vihtavouri 3N37.
        Thanks :)

              Hi,
I would be interested in load data for 502 490Gr WFN  and 502  450/500/550/600Gr RF.    If there is data for H110 all the better but can try and source other powders.

              thanks

Dak, what cartridge are these for?

All the others will be added to the list in the next update. I will probably add these in some sort of mix so that everyone gets helped as soon as possible. As I stated earlier in this topic, about one a day is a good as I can produce.

                          Onkel link,

                          Concerning the 8X57JRS; I have the 8X57I, IR, IRS, PCC, R 360, & Mauser.

                          Concerning the 8X58RD; I have the 8X58R Sauer & 8X58RD (Danish Krag).

If your cartridge isn’t one of those that I have I will need a cartridge drawing. If you find it online, just post the link. Also need the standard rate of twist used with the cartridge. Thanks.

Yes, the 8x57IRS is the same as the JRS, and the 8x58RD Danish Krag is also right for the Swedish Remington.
                            Thanks

That should do it for me.  Thanks again.

And, oh boy, there’s some screaming hot load data on the .327 Federal sheet.  My wadcutter alloy would never stand up to that, and several ballisticians have suggested never pushing “soft” bullets (even some jacketed) that hard in a revolver, anyway (it seems to cause forcing cone damage in .327 Federal, .460 S&W, and some .454 Casulls).  But I do appreciate the data.
