Any interest in a multi-cavity version of this one? It’s a tapered bullet that weighs 195 grains. Because of the taper it is a great choice for magazine fed guns. It’s been a good performer in my 300 Blackout AR which has a fairly short throat. You can seat it out to where the mouth just barely covers the lube groove and it will still fit in the magazine and feed perfectly.

My only though about this bullet is that it has a very low BC for a 206 gr bullet. I think it could benefit with a 311299 type nose on it. Maybe increase the OAL a little to accommodate it.

I don’t know…this bullet feeds beautifully in an AR. Would a 299 do as well?

I would think that it would feed as good or better.

It would have a nose radius more like a jacketed bullet.

If you can get someone to load a 311299 to the same COAL, you can try it for function.

Also, I will retract my recomendation of increasing the OA length because of the AR appliction.

The unsupported portion of the nose is under .300″ I have had my best accuracy with bore ride noses that left .300″ or less unsupported by the bore.

I would like to see the design remain as drawn.

The BC only increased to .2656 when I changed the nose.
You would have to get in to a TC and make it longer to get the BC up.

If we change it that much it is no longer a 311679 too.
