Would anyone be interested in a group buy lead ingot mold made from aluminum and have the NOE logo on each cavity?

If so, how many cavities and what weight should they be?

here is a link to the Cast Boolit site for the ingot mould group buy back in 2009

I would be interested in one making 1 lb and/or 2 lb ingots. I’m using regular size steel muffin pans for pure lead and wheel weight alloy, along with mini muffin pans for smaller pewter ingots now. It would be nice having something different for alloy that’s mixed and ready for use. I think cast ingot moulds would be OK.

I also like the idea of 2 lb ingots.

The 2 pound would be OK, but most of my ingots are of the 1# and 5#. I’d favor the 1 pounders as they go into my melting pot easier.

I expect this to look a lot like the ones they did on Cast Boolits a few years ago as we are talking about milled aluminum moulds?  If not they should as they turned out nice and work well.

Here is a link to the Cast Boolits forum that shows the ingot molds that were made for a group buy.

                        http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?58897-CB-Custom-Ingot-Moulds

The cost in 2009 was $25 for either a 4-1 lb mold with handle or 2-2 lb mold with handle. They also offered a 1 cavity mold but I think that would be a waste of time and money.

Minimum of 50 pieces in order to have the group buy.

                        I would personally buy 2-4 cavity, 1lb. ingot moulds & a 1-2 cavity 2 lb ingot mould.

I guess I should have been more specific regarding the 2 lb mold. I think it should be approx 1.75 wide, 3.44 long x 1″ deep, 4 cav. That way, people with 10 lb pots, wouldn’t  have any problem getting them in their pot.

Those are what I envisioned when I saw this thread.

I got one of each and they turned out to be great moulds.
