Would anyone be interested in a group buy lead ingot mold made from aluminum and have the NOE logo on each cavity?

If so, how many cavities and what weight should they be?

Glad I noticed this. I bought two of the original cast boolits molds. They work great and I regret not having bought more. Waiting for two ingot molds to cool when doing a large batch really slows you down.
I’ll take 4 1# molds and 2 of the larger size provided as someone has suggested the ingots go into a Lee 20# pot.

I just thought I’d add my 2¢ here.
Two years ago, when “Beone” was planning his “redneck gold” cast aluminum ingot molds, I suggested each cavity should be sized for a ingot weighing around 2 lbs or a little more and also fit tightly in a USPS small FRB where about 9 of them will fill that box, for easy packing/shipping.  He made them that size, it worked great …and they will fit in any Lee pot.

The specifics:

Outside dimensions of a USPS small FRB is 5.375 x 8.625 x 1.625

So if each mold cavity is 5.25 x 1.50 x 0.875 then the ingot should weigh around 2 to 2.5 lbs. And 9 of them should fit in a SFRB with a total weight around 18 to 20 lbs.

It’s a great concept, but…

For the way that I do things, 1-lb ingots work much better.
It allows me to mix custom alloys by pulling from my various other alloys in 1-lb ingot and 1-oz (437 gr bullet form) quantities, and piling everything in the pot.

I also would be interested in getting some of the 1# ingot molds.  I like the idea of using mold handles on the ingot mold rather than vise grip pliars or the type handle LEE uses.  I also am interested in what the per unit cost would be, or offer a (2) for or (3)for a better price offer?
